Hi, I’m Ari! I’m a Sensual Educator.

I’m a certified Sexologist, professional burlesque artist, award-winning podcaster, and trauma-informed sexuality professional.

I help people reconnect to their sensuality & sexuality — especially after experiencing sexual trauma or shame.

Whether it’s a burlesque performance, facilitating a group space, or a 1-on-1 coaching session — sensuality is the nuance I use to make any taboo topic accessible and exciting.

The main thread in my work is exploring sexuality through the lens of sensuality.

What I do

Coaching

Sensual Healing Sessions are a talk-based one-on-one coaching space meant to guide you on your personal sex and sensuality journey

Burlesque

As a Burlesque artist since 2012, I’ve travelled the world performing and teaching the art of striptease as Elle Du Jour —“She puts the ‘muse’ in musicality”.

I regularly offer dance classes, specialty workshops, choreography & critiques for your solo or group act, and private lessons (both virtual and in-person).

Sex Ed

In my adult Sex Education work, I facilitate conversations surrounding LGBTQ+ sexual health, queer identity, and create content that is pleasure-focused.

In 2022, I was awarded the Effing Foundation Grant for Sex Positivity with my project, SensuElle Podcast.

A note for potential coaching clients…

“I am not here to empower cis het men.”

While I welcome all identities to my workshop experiences and public appearances, my private coaching practice is limited to women, femmes, non-binary individuals, and folks of marginalized genders. I make exceptions for cis-het couples, if they are dealing with queer issues.

Be mindful that my perspective on sexuality is that of a queer Black woman & femme, and that’s what you’ll get in-session with me, during interviews, and throughout my art & content. If that’s not your jam, or if it makes you uncomfy, I ask you look elsewhere for healing.
